A Celebration Of Nike @ Harrolds

We can’t believe it’s been almost a year. A year since what, you may be thinking, but as we get to the business end of 2023 that’s (almost) how long we’ve had Nike at Harrolds.

Last week, to celebrate the journey so far, we took over Mill Place for an evening fit for the goddess of victory herself.

We’ve savoured the special moments that come with carrying Nike

Hosted by friend of the store, footwear aficionado, Moncler mixer, and self-proclaimed industry heavyweight, 24 Karat Kev, we also welcomed live performances from rising stars Pania and Miko Mal, plus, a typically effervescent DJ set from our go-to selector, SAL. You should never party on an empty stomach, so a very special thanks to Royal Stacks who served up their signature burgers in custom Nike boxes, and to Vodka Soda & for keeping the drinks flowing all night.

Sports and streetwear have been the biggest disruptors in the industry of the last decade, and we’ve seen the heights of luxury fashion scaled by Nike. From Off-White and COMME des GARÇONS to Sacai, Louis Vuitton and Jacquemus, sneakers have been the vehicle of choice for designers in the upper echelons looking to shape and elevate streetwear, and as the lines between road and runway get blurrier and blurrier, opportunity knocks for those daring enough to mix high and low.

It makes sense. At its core, the Nike brand was built on two values: aspiration and determination. The aspirational aspect is clear in the way it aligns with luxury fashion; the determination to be better, innovate and impact is a value that resonates, too. It’s in Nike’s DNA to break records, change games and inspire. Nike raises the bar, and together we raised the roof with a night to remember at The Mill. Stay tuned for even more in 2024.
